Cousins Bike Ride

Taking advantage of the sunshine!

Canada View

That’s Canada (Victoria) in the background.

Sword Fights

What’s a little sword fight among cousins?

Three Crabs

Rock Tower

The kids had to leave their mark.

Lighthouse

There is a lighthouse at the end of the spit. You can hike to it at low tide. The 6.5 miles each way was a bit more than we wanted to do. And we missed low tide. Have to leave something for another day.

Snack Stop

A nice flat log made a perfect snack stop.

Beach Exploration

Surf on one side and a bay on the other side. With piles of driftwood in the middle. A great place for exploring!

Dungeness Spit

Maule Family Adventure- extended version

Off to the beach…

The Maule Family Musicians

They are having so much fun!

Richland, WA

They decided this playground was “extra fun”. There was a wading pool, musical area, zip line, climbing rocks, and the usual playground stuff.

Welcome to Washington

Scenic Overlook

A turnout along I-84. It was a cool view of the sniggle snaggle road.

And the fields of yellow lupine.

Welcome to Oregon

Just passing through.

Welcome to Idaho

Another photo in motion. Trying to make tracks today so we can be in Seattle tomorrow. We will have time for regular photos on the slow meander after we visit with Tim, Yumi, and Ethan.

Throwback Thursday at the airport

We found some super cool WWII planes. One is a B-25, and the other is a B-17. There were over 12,000 B-17s made to fly during WWII, and only five are still deemed flight-worthy. They are absolutely huge, with more than 10 people needed to fly each one. Sam is hoping that they will take them to Colorado sometime, so her CAP squadron can go see them. Super cool!

They tour on a Sentimental Journey and offer tours and rides. We were lucky enough to see the article in the Logan newspaper so we stopped in for a quick look.
